Snippey, The Guru, and the Webmaster would like to express our gratitude and appreciation for all of the support that you've shown over the years that this site has been in existence. .

However, given the pitiful state of affairs in WINSTON Cup racing these days, and the God-Awful way Brian France and his Nazi Clones have fucked up our sport, we find ourselves at a crossroads. After so many years of reporting the news, rumors, and dealings both around the sport and from within the garage area itself, we find that we are starting to repeat ourselves, not able to generate fresh insight on what has become bland in the sport of racing. For these reasons, Pitlizards.com has gone on hiatus for a while. Although I would never dare to compare what we've done here to our esteemed collegue and friend, Matt McLaughlin over at Racingstalkers.com, we understand where his 'burnout" came from last year. Matt came back towards the end of the season last year, full of piss and wind, and so may we. We're just taking some time to refocus, spend time with family, and recharge the batteries.
